At the heart of the Ubuntu project lies a belief that open source software

potential. A central goal has been the creation of a world-class, free and
open source operating system that we have worked to make accessible across

Today I finished my Linux upgrade from Ubuntu 6.10 to the new 7.04 (Feisty Fawn). I upgraded from within my previously installed Ubuntu and finished without any complains.
It took me about 2.5 hours with 1Mbit ADSL that is okay. I am looking forward to discover and use the new features.
Here is a screenshot from my Ubuntu dekstop.
If you have discovered any exiting new features, please let me know.

Late yesterday I finished my first Ubuntu desktop installation on my laptop (IBM X31, 512MB DDR, 40GB HDD, 1.4Mhz processor) with success… I thought!
After rebooting, the GRUB loader screen displayed “Error 15″ and couldn’t go any further. I didn’t got a clue on, what the reason was?!
After googleling for a while, I found an answer to “ubuntu grub error 15″. The boot file was corrupt, but how could that happend?! I don’t know…
I just re-installed Ubuntu from the live cd and it worked.
